About 8-Bit Ballroom
8-Bit Ballroom began in 2024. Our main goal is to offer fun ballroom dance lessons to nerdy people and to make dance accessible to as many people as possible. We offer private lessons, group classes, and we organize ballroom and formal dance events.
But wait! I'm not nerdy.
That's ok! Anyone with any background or interest is welcome to take lessons. All private lessons are tailored to your goals and needs.
Where do you do lessons?
I currently rent floor space for private lessons from Tysons Ballroom Dance Center in Vienna, VA and Forever Dancing Ballroom in Falls Church, VA. I also do in-home lessons which are available after your initial 4 lessons.
What should I wear to my dance lessons?
Wear clothes you can move around in and that breathes easily. If you don't already have dance shoes, choose a comfortable pair of shoes with smooth bottoms. Avoid shoes with rubber soles.
Do I need dance experience to take private lessons?
NO! Private lessons are tailored to you and your goals. Lessons begin where you're at in your dancing. Total beginners through seasoned competitors welcome!
Brittany
Brittany has danced since she was a kid. She began teaching ballroom dance in 2018 and has competed in Professional American Rhythm and Professional International Ballroom. She is certified through Dance Vision in Bronze level American Smooth and American Rhythm.
